Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Does John Rocker ever quit? Jimmy the Greek. Al Campanis. Like the Bandit, that’s baby shit alongside of what this dude is doin’.
You may remember John for saying, “Imagine having to take the 7 Train to the ballpark…next to some queer with AIDS.” You may remember John for saying, “The biggest things I don’t like about New York are the foreigners…. How the hell did they get in this country?”
Well sports fans, he’s back. Back in the back of a Cadillac, he’s number one with a bullet, a power pack. Not in the back of a Cadillac but at the Whisky Blue Bar in Atlanta. At the Whisky Blue Bar in Atlanta spewing his venom once again. This time his target was Jews. One Jew in particular.
According the prestigious Page Six of the New York Post, Rocker went on a rampage, calling Atlanta sportscaster Steak Shapiro a “fat Jewish bastard, an a – - hole and a bleep.” And nobody likes to be called a bleep. Rocker was immediately ejected from the bar.
To the surprise of no one, Rocker took no responsibility for the incident. Through his spokeswoman he said: “It wasn’t that big of a deal…He instigated the incident.” Of course he did John. We believe you. Why wouldn’t we believe you? Steak Shapiro had it coming. Just like that fat monkey Randall Simon had it coming.
