NHL: Another New Coach Another Loss

I guess this is our last goodbye; and you don’t care, so I won’t cry.  But you’ll be sorry when Im dead; and all this guilt will be on your head.  -The Police

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  Like my main Winston Churchill always says, “There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction.”  And that’s the question, isn’t it?  Well isn’t it?  Last night, the Maple Leafs beat the Rangers in a shootout in John Tortorella’s first game as New York’s head coach.  The Rangers were the sixth NHL team to make a coaching change since the start of the season.  Not one of those teams won their first game after the switch.  Not one.  Not Joel Quenneville of the Blackhawks.  Not Rick Tocchet of the Lightning.  Not Paul Maurice of the Hurricanes.  Not Cory Clouston of the Senators.  And not Dan Bylsma of the Penguins.  I’m just saying.

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!
