(truTV 9:45 PM ET) Bracket buster alert! Bracket buster alert! Ahhh, the dreaded 12-5 match-up. Since 1989, a No. 12 seed has beaten a No. 5 in the opening round in every year but two. Why should this year be any different? It won’t be. It won’t be because the Utah State Aggies are mad as hell and they’re not gonna take it anymore. Utah State forward Tai Wesley: “Our seed is a slap in the face. We could have won three more games, then we probably could have gotten a 10 seed.” Just so you know, had Utah State won three more games, they would have been 33-0. Yowza! Utah State, led by six seniors, grown men, rolled through the regular season to win the WAC by five games and followed that up with the conference tournament title. The Aggies are tenacious. The Aggies are disciplined. They can hurt a team in many different ways. Tonight, expect them to hurt the overrated and overhyped K-State Wildcats in many different ways. Expect one of the country’s best post players, WAC player of the year Tai Wesley, to hurt the K-State Wildcats in many different ways. Tonight expect a dreaded 12-5 upset. Get your popcorn ready!
Peace out homies! Six Two and Even!
