Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Word on the street says the Timberwolves are prepared to start exploring the trade market for Al Jefferson.  Word on the street says there are questions about Jefferson’s compatibility with Kevin Love.  Like my main Jay-Z always says, “When the streets is talkin, niggaz is gossipin.’”  The gossip is a deal was in the works to send Al Jefferson to Indiana for Danny Granger.  Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn quickly shot this down saying  he has no desire to do anything with the team’s core pieces this season.  I hope he’s telling the truth.      Read More »

North Carolina 89  Michigan State 72:  The Tar Heels were just too much.  Just too much posse.  Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Tyler Hansbrough were just too much.   Just too much posse.  Too much for Sparty.  Too much for everybody.  Last night was the sixth NCAA tournament game, spanning 2008 and 2009, in which each of those players scored at least fifteen points.  The only other trio of teammates who scored at least fifteen points each in five tournament games was Mark Aguirre, Gary Garland, and Curtis Watkins of DePaul all in 1979.     Read More »
