Like my main Yogi Berra always says, “You give 100 percent in the first half of the game, and if that isn’t enough, in the second half, you give what’s left.” The Celtics gave 100% in the first half of this season. Unfortunately, they gave 100% without 100% of their line-up. Injuries hampered Boston’s ability to rule the East with the iron fist they had in the past, but somehow, they still began the season 23-5. That somehow is Marquis Daniels. The Celtics still began the season 23-5 because for most of that time, Marquis Daniels was still able to suit up. Able to suit up for 16 of those 23 wins. However, Daniels had to miss time with a left wrist and thumb injury. He had to miss a lot of time. 29 games worth of time. 12 losses worth of time. But now he’s back. Back just in the nick of time.
