It takes two to make a thing go right. It takes two to make it outta sight. Hit it! -Rob Base
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Word on the street says the Timberwolves are prepared to start exploring the trade market for Al Jefferson. Word on the street says there are questions about Jefferson’s compatibility with Kevin Love. Like my main Jay-Z always says, “When the streets is talkin, niggaz is gossipin.’” The gossip is a deal was in the works to send Al Jefferson to Indiana for Danny Granger. Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn quickly shot this down saying he has no desire to do anything with the team’s core pieces this season. I hope he’s telling the truth.
Last night, for the second time in less than a week, Kevin Love and Al Jefferson had 20 or more points and at least 14 rebounds in the same game. Yowza! No other pair of teammates has had a game this season in which each had at least 20 points and 14 rebounds. These guys have already done it twice. In one week! That’s something. That’s something worth keeping.
The Timberwolves must be patient with this young team. I have high hopes for them. They have some nice young talent. To go along with Big Al Jefferson and Kevin Love, they have that high flyin’, electrifyin’, death defyin’, in your eyein’, Jonny Flynn. Wayne Ellington should become an impact player. If they keep this young nucleus together they shoud be a very exciting team for a very long time.
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
