Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  This Gerald Wallace character is just doing it all.  Like the Candyman he’s Loving it all, having a ball.  Candyman tell ‘em the truth, we’ll still end up knockin’ the boots.  Gerald Wallace is knockin’ the boots.  Knocked boots last night with 29 big points.  Knocked boots last night with 12 huge rebounds.  Knocked boots last night with four tremendous blocked shots and four titanic three-point field goals in the Bobcats’ 88-76 home win over the Pistons.  Hooray Gerald Wallace!  Know this Kobeophiles and LebRon lovers alike, only two NBA players have ever met all those levels in one game.  Only the man everyone loves to hate, Bill Laimbeer.  And only ex-Maryland star Walt Williams.  Not to be confused with Walt “No Neck” Williams.          

When are folks going to start giving this cat the due he deserves?  Sure, folks in Charlotte know just how hard this cat plays and how much he likes playing.  More folks should take heed.  Unfortunately, he’s not even among the top 12 vote getters at his position in his conference in this upcming All Star game.  It’s a travesty.  It’s a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.  He deserves to play in the 2010 NBA All Star Game. 

Gerald Wallace is among the league leaders in rebounding, they don’t call him Crash for nothin’. He proves himself as one of the top defenders in the game night in and night out. He’s an athletic freak.  Le Freak, c’est chic.  Freak out!  He’s one of the best dunkers in the Association.  He may just have the best first step in all of basketball.  So rememeber what Teddy Roosevelt said.  Rememeber, “A vote is like a rifle; its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.”  How’s your character?  Rock the vote!
