Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Everybody’s talking about this John Wall kid. Everybody’s squawking about Kentucky. All day long at school I hear how great Kentucky is at this or how wonderful Kentucky did that! Kentucky, Kentucky, Kentucky! Isn’t there somebody you’re forgetting? A number one somebody you’re forgetting? That’s right. Rock. Chalk. Jayhawk! While everybody’s been yipping and yapping about John Wall, flipping and flapping about the freshamn phenom from Kentucky, a frehman phenom from Kansas has been doing some things himself. Xavier Henry started with a 25-point performance Wednesday and continued with a near triple double yesterday as Kansas cruised to beat LaSalle 90-65. Yowza! Know this: That was the Jayhawks’ seventh win by at least 25 points this season. That was the most such wins by any school in college basketball today. How about that? How about this: Over the last four seasons (since 2006-07), Kansas has won 35 regular-season games by a margin of 25 or more points, also the most in the country over that span. So while you’re lauding over your John Wall and your Kentucky, just don’t forget about your Xavier Henry and your Kansas.
