Last night, fresh off a humiliating loss to the lowly T-Wolves, the Denver Nuggets just whupped up on the Golden State Warriors. Whupped up on them real good like. It was a game for a little while. A little while. After 12 minutes of play, the Warriors led the Nuggets, 28-25. In a little while, surely you’ll be mine. In a little while, this hurt will hurt no more. After that, the Warriors were surely the Nuggets’. After that, the hurt hurt a lot more. After an additional 24 minutes on the court, Denver had taken a 107-84 lead, en route to a 135-107 victory. Sweet sassy molassy!
The Denver Nuggets put up a total of 82 points in the second and third quarters. The Denver Nuggets put up a season high for any NBA team in two consecutive quarters of a game. It was the third time this season that the Denver Nuggets have put up 130 big ones. No other NBA team has visited that plateau more than once. Ya heard? Yes sports fans, the Nugs are scoring in bunches. Round house punches. No free lunches. Carmelo Anthony remains the only NBA player to have scored at least 20 points in every game this season. Mr. Big Shot himself lit it up for 32 just the other night. An all out effort from Chris the Birdman Andersen can be expected evry night. This is one team you do not want to face in the playoffs.
