I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was. -Muhammad Ali
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Bob Arum says Pretty Floyd Mayweather is a coward. Bob Arum says he’s a chicken. Yella. Bob Arum says Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather “may not be prepared to do this fight.” Bob Arum says Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather “is so tied up with the fact that nobody has beaten him that he is afraid, terrified of losing that zero.” I say to Bob Arum what the Clash said. I say, “There ain’t no need for ya. There ain’t no need for ya. Go straight to Hell boy. Go straight to Hell boy.” Now I like Manny Pacquiao as much as the next guy, but Senator, I served with Money. I knew Money. Money was a friend of mine. Senator, you’re no Money.
The day Floyd Mayweather returned to the ring was the day he regained his title as pound-for-pound best fighter in the free and not so free world. Manny Pacquiao be damned. Mayweather has an unprecedented mix of speed and power. Whenever he steps into the ring his natural instincts are on display. A display that has already translated to 40 wins without a loss. A display that has already translated to 25 knockouts. A display that has already translated to six world championships in five weight classes. His style is impetuous. His defense is impregnable. He’s just ferocious. He wants your heart. He wants to eat his children. Praise be to Allah!
Know this sports fans, they don’t call him Money for nothing. Money for nothing and chicks for free. Floyd Mayweather is almost as patient in negotiations as he is in the ring. Can Pacquiao possibly get the higher payday if he fights Mayweather? Absolutely not. Nor should he. Pretty Boy knows this. He knows that the Pacman could never make the kind of money he wants unless Pretty Boy is in the picture. And that, my friends, is what it all boils down to. It boils down to what it always boils down to. It boils down to the bottom line. So call Mayweather greedy if you must. But don’t you dare call him chicken.

Need More? Boxing, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao

[...] Floyd Mayweather is a coward. Huh? (Josh Q. Public) [...]
I don't thint it's that all Floyd Mayweather wants is a good payday. He doesn't wat to fight unless he has an obvious advantage. Ricky Hatten put a lot of pressure on Mayweather that was interupted constantly by the referee in Mayweather's favor. Marquez didn't even fight. Pacquiao cannot be bought and would present an actual fight for Mayweather. The question is, will Mayweather fight or create problems to insure another win.
Robert
Mayweather jr is not a chicken!!! HE is GAY!!!
Mayweather is a chicken both of them sr. and jr! so afraid of the pacman!!! what a waste!
you're right. floyd mayweather is not a chicken. that would be an insult to chickens across the world. more properly put, floyd is a coward. he's afraid of getting his rear end whipped in front of what will viably be the largest television audience ever for a boxing match. he's afraid of the fight not even being close enough for the public to want a re-match. he's afraid of his legacy being tarnished by a fighter that is truly the people's champ. face it floyd, the people never liked you. the people never loved you. the people don't care about you. the people can't wait to see you lose.
