This Just In: The T-Wolves Stink

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Everybody’s yipping about the Knicks.  Everybody’s yapping about the Nets.  Yipping and yapping.  Flipping and flapping.  And for good reason.  Those guys stink.  But isn’t there somebody we’re forgetting?  Don’t the Minnesota Timberwolves belong in this conversation?  Like my main man Pepe LePew always says, “If you cannot beat zem,  join zem!  Wait for me baby!”  The T-Wolves ain’t beating nobody.  Last night, the Rockets handed the Timberwolves their 11th straight defeat.  11th straight!  Egads man!  The only team Minnesota has beaten this year are the aforementioned Nets in their first game of the season.  If you think that’s bad, check this out.  The T-Wolves just became only the second team in NBA history to lose as many as 11 consecutive games immediately following a season-opening win.  Only the Magic who lost 19 in a row after winning its opener in 2003, matched such ineptitude.  That’s not good.       

I had high hopes for this team.  They have some nice young talent.  I love me some big Al Jefferson.  I love that high flyin’, electrifyin’, death defyin’,  in your eyein’, Jonny Flynn.  I thought Wayne Ellington would be an impact player right away.  I thought for sure this team would be exciting.  I thought for sure they coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what they are.  Like Fonzie, I was wrrrr….  I was wrrrrr…  I was wrrrrr….  You know.
