Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! What can’t this kid do? What can’t this Sid the Kid do? Last night, the Next One, Sidney Crosby, blessed be he, scored both goals for the Penguins against the Panthers. Hooray Sidney Crosby! His first on a power play. His second shorthanded. And if that weren’t enough, he got the winner winner chicken dinner with the only shootout goal of the game. Sweet sassy molassy! He did it like this. He did it like that. He did it with the whiffle ball bat. He did it all by himself. Down two nil in the third, the young phenom singlehandedly tied this game up. The shorthander was the first of Crosby’s career. Up to that moment, his total of 137 goals since he entered the NHL in 2005 was the highest over that span for any player who had no shorthanded goals over the last five seasons. How about that? How about Sidney Crosby?
