Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Just a quickie. Marc-Andre Fleury made it eight wins in eight games this season with a 5-1 victory against St. Louis last night. Yowza! What yowza you say? Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say he just night set a single-season record for wins by a Penguins goaltender in October. I also say, in the interest of fairness to the former record holders, Tom Barrasso and Roberto Romano, it’s worth noting that two of Fleury’s eight wins this season were earned via shootouts. One more thing I say. I saw Tom Barrasso play in High School. His Acton-Boxboro beat my Belmont Marauders in the Massachusetts State Tournament. He was very good.
