Ok not really but this show does look pretty funny. It’s called the League and it follows a group of friends and how their fantasy football leagues affect their lives. I think it’ll be good but what do I know. Anyway, on to the picks:

QBs
Start:
Ben Roethlisberger (@DET): Big Ben had a very productive game against a schizophrenic Chargers team last week. So he’ll definitely put up big numbers against the Lions this week
Kurt Warner (@HOU): Mario Williams is a game-time decision for the Texans so that means Warner will have all the time in the world to find his receivers down the field. He’ll have a huge day
Tony Romo (@KC): I know he choked big time and lost track of the downs and blah blah blah but The Chefs have been an easy win and Romo will rebound against a shitty team like he normally does
Jake Delhomme (@WAS): The Skins have been playing pretty uninspired football, couple that with all the off-the-field distractions and Delhomme will return to his pro bowl form this week
Sit:
Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn (@BUF): The Browns are an absolute joke this year. I put both QBs because I have no idea what Mangini is doing when it comes to the QB position. Either way, they’re both a bad decision
Matt Ryan (@SF): In my league, The Niners put up 39 points on defense last week. Granted they played the Rams but they were flying around the ball and Matty Ice hasn’t looked good fantasy wise the last 3 weeks
Carson Palmer (@BAL): Palmer has historically put up big numbers against the Ravens but he’s turned the ball over a lot this season and Ray Lewis will fire up that D after the loss against the Pats last week
Kyle Boller (@MIN): Jared Allen…3.5 sacks last week…if you need anything else then you have no idea what’s going on in fantasy football
RBs
Start:
Brandon Jacobs (@OAK): The Raiders front line is pretty weak, Jacobs is a tough runner, and if Eli doesn’t play the G0Men will run the ball more than usual. Either way, he’ll run over anyone trying to tackle him
Maurice Jones-Drew (@SEA): MJD has been quietly putting up numbers this season and The Seahawks have been a middle of the road defense so far. He’ll go off this week
Joseph Addai/Donald Brown (@TEN): The Titans D line is noticeably different without Haynesworth and either one of these guys will put up good numbers for your team
LeSean McCoy (@TB): Westbrook is coming off an injury which means he won’t get the bulk of the touches so look for McCoy to be used to get tough yards
Sit:
Clinton Portis (@CAR): Portis carrying the load for the Skins for so long is catching up with him. He isn’t as explosive as he used to and the Skins offense as a whole is not clicking
Ronnie Brown (@MIA): There are only so many ways you can disguise the Wildcat. Rex Ryan is a defensive guy and has shown that so far this season so Brown will have a tough night on the ground
Carnell “Cadillac” Williams (@NYG): Depending on how deep your league is, you might not have this guy but if you do then definitely sit him. His two back-ups are banged up so he’ll get the majority of carries against a tough Giants run D
Larry Johnson (@DAL): LJ’s stats are abysmal. He’s only averaging 2.6 years a carry and that won’t improve against the Cowboys this week
WRs
Start:
DeSean Jackson (@TB): Whether you get return yards for this guy or not, he’s been putting up huge numbers for me in one of my leagues. As long as he doesn’t hurt himself flipping into the end zone, then start him
Braylan Edwards (@MIA): I know this might sound dumb because he’s coming off a week with no catches and is tied for the most on target drops but a new setting and the glitz of Monday Night Football will energize Edwards and he’ll show the Browns what they’re missing
Brandon Marshall (@NE): The Pats have a top 10 pass D but as Marshall showed last week, he can climb the ladder and then make defenders miss and score TDs. Now that things are all happy in Bronco-land then Marshall will actually work this week
Steve Smith, CAR (@WAS): The Skins will be too focused on stopping J-Stew and D’Angelo Williams and will eventually give up big plays to Smith
Sit:
Randy Moss (@DEN): I know it sounds dumb but he’ll be covered by the best in the game, Champ Bailey, and if he needs help over the top he has Weapon X a.k.a. Brian Dawkins to lower the boom. Bailley proved last week that you CANNOT throw on him
Any Raiders Receiver (@NYG): JaMarcus Russell couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat. The Giants will put pressure on him and make him look worse than he already is, if that’s possible
Justin Gage (@IND): He’s supposed to be the number one receiver but he’s done nothing this year. Collins is losing his old man strength and that doesn’t look good for the Titans
Ted Ginn Jr. (@NYJ): He’s number one on the depth chart but is second on the team in receptions and total yards. The Jets secondary will shut him down this week
D/ST
Start:
Dallas Cowboys (@KC): The Cowboys will get a good confidence boosting win before Romo fucks them over again in two weeks
New York Jets (@MIA): They faced a balanced Saints team last week and they held their own but lost. Once they shut down the Wildcat, they’ll be able to do whatever they want against the Dolphins
San Francisco 49ers (@ATL): They put up big numbers last week and as long as they keep the Falcons out of the end zone, they’ll have a good day
New York Giants (@OAK): Now that Darren McFadden is out 4 weeks, the Raiders will have a VERY tough time moving the ball on offense. The G-Men will be in Russell’s face all day
Sit:
Pittsburgh Steelers (@DET): The Steelers are normally tough but they let up a lot of points last in last week’s game and Megatron can make Daunte Culpepper look good. So the Lions will hit a few big plays in this game
Tennessee Titans (@IND): Peyton Manning is making household names out of these nobody receivers. Add that to their two-headed running beast and they’ll put up tons of points this week
Buffalo Bills (@CLE): Even though Derek Anderson throws lots of picks, he’s getting back into the groove of the offense and will be good for a few big plays against the Bills
Cincinatti Bengals (@BAL): The Ravens have a talented QB for once and a three-pronged rushing attack which will give the Bengals D-line fits all day. The Ravens will put up a lot of points this week after last week’s loss
Waiver Wire:
Mohammed Massaquoi, WR, Cleveland Browns (@BUF): With Edwards out of the picture, Anderson can look to Massaquoi more. He had a huge game last week and is a good #3 option
Mike Sims-Walker, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (@SEA): Garrard has been finding him a lot and if he isn’t already taken then scoop him up
Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland Browns (@BUF): Jamal Lewis is out and Mangini named Harrison the starter. If your thin at RB then Harrison should be good for a couple weeks until better RBs get healthy or become available
Alright, that’ll do it. If you agree/disagree or whatever just leave it in the comments. I’m off to Screeemfest, catch you guys later.
Need More? NFL

I really think this is going to be Matt Ryan's break-out game this season. I know the SF defense is solid, but Ryan is a fantastic film-student, and coming off the bye, he'll have had plenty of time to study and prepare for this game.
i hope not. i just cut him for david garrard
The only start I would let Delhomme make would be to my car when I'm behind on my gambling debt to the local wise guys
what do you have against interceptions?
