Jorge Posada Could Learn From Crash Davis

Oh, you wished me well, you couldn’t tell that I’ve been crying over you, crying over you.  And you said, so long.  Left me standing all alone.  Alone and crying, crying, crying, crying.  -Roy Orbison

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Like my main man Coach Norman Dale always says, “Nine players on the field functioning as one single unit.  Team, team, team!  No one more important that the other.”  Somebody should tell that to Jorge Posada.  Hip hip Jorge!  Yankees catcher Jorge Posada is upset about being benched for Game 2.  Jorge said, “I can’t do nothing about it.  Just sit and watch the ballgame.”  Jorge said, “It’s not like I’m jumping for joy here.”  He said these things after he said this about CC Sabathia,”I came to the mound, and I told him what I wanted him to throw and when I got to the plate, he threw a different pitch.”  Maybe Jorge should take a page out of Crash Davis’ book.  Maybe he should have said something like this,”I just wanta give it my best shot and, Good Lord willing, things’ll work out.”
