Boston Red Sox: What Me Worry?

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  I know what happened last night.  I saw what happened last night.  Saw what happened to Big Jon Lester.  I don’t care.  Things happen.  This thing hasn’t happened in quite a while.  Jon Lester has allowed only one home run with two men on base, or with the bases loaded, over his last 47 regular-season starts.  So when Torii Hunter hit his three-run blast last night, you can only chalk it up to one of those things.    

 All I know is, Boom Boom Beckett is up next.  All I know is Boom Boom Beckett enters this October with a 7-2 record and 2.90 earned run average in eleven career postseason games.  He’s the one that I want.  Hoo hoo hoo.  The one that I want in big games.  All I know is, bad oblique or no bad oblique, I still take my chances with Beckett.  Give him another injection of painkiller.  Give him some more of that anti-inflammatory medication.  Put the rock in his hand and trot him out there.  And ye without sin cast the first stone.
