Pettitte Returns Angels Rejoice

United we stand, all in all, we’re gonna win.  Check it out, yeah y’all, here we go again.  Turn it up, bring the noise!  I said turn it up!  Bring the noise!   -Public Enemy

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  It it me, or are things not so peachy keen over there  in Yankeesland?  Not so crisp and clean over there  in Yankeesland.  Things aren’t as they seem over there  in Yankeesland.  First Joba, now this.  Last night, the Angels defeated the Yankees, hanging a loss on little Andy Pettitte.  Know this sports fans, Pettitte is now 0-4 with a 7.91 ERA in six starts against the Angels over the last two seasons, and the Angels have averaged nearly two baserunners per inning against him.  Doesn’t that get you all warm and fuzzy for the playoffs?

Don’t be surprised if the Yankees play the Angels in Round 1 either.  While the wheels are falling the Yankees bike, the Sox train just keeps on a-rolling.  Jason Bay’s been a-rolling.  Last night, Jason Bay rolled his RBI streak to seven games.  Yowza!  That’s his second RBI streak of that length this season.  He’s the first Boston player to have two seven-game RBI streaks in one season since Ted Williams in 1950.  How about that!  Three games in the Bronx loom large.  Roll Sox, roll!

Public Spectacle:

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!

BallHype: hype it up!
