Leave Tom Brady Alone!

Leave Tom Brady Alone! No time to search the world around, ’cause you know where I’ll be found.  When I come around.  -Green Day

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  In the army they have a saying, it goes a little something like this, “The maximum effective range of an excuse is zero meters.”  Bill Parcells has a saying too.  He says, “You are what your record says you are.”  I understand these things.  I do.  I also understand, yesterday, Tom Brady threw a costly interception in the first quarter and misfired often enough to complete fewer than half his passes (23-for-47, 216 yards with no touchdown passes.  That’s right, zero, zilch, nada.  But you should understand, believe it or not, this New England Patriots team is still a work in progress.  When all is said and done, Tom Brady will get his sea legs under him.  When all is said and done, the defense will come together.  Wherever you are today Pats’ fans, you can make it.  Hold your head high; stick your chest out.  You can make it.  It gets dark sometimes, but the morning comes.  Don’t you surrender! You must not surrender!  Hold on, and hold out!  We must never surrender!!  The Patriots will get better and better.  Keep hope alive.  Keep hope alive!  Keep hope alive!  Next week and beyond, keep hope alive!

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!
