Joba: Time To Change The Rules

Just when you think you know the answers, I change the questions.  -Rowdy Roddy Piper

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Lost in all the excitement of yesterday’s Jets win over the Patriots was the plight of one Joba Chamberpot.  Not since Michael Jordan has a set of rules been so well publicized.  Yesterday marked Chambermaid’s sixth consecutive start in which he pitched no more than four innings.  Yesterday marked the longest such streak in one season for any major-league pitcher since Mike Johnson did that in seven straight starts for the Orioles and Expos in 1997.  Given the fact that Joba allowed seven runs in three innings in the Yankees’ loss at Seattle, maybe folks should start thinking about changing the rules.  How does two innings sound?  Ha ha ha!  Roll Sox roll!

Peace out Joba.  Six two and Even!

As a Yankee fan I'm definitely worried about Joba a little bit. When it gets to the post-season they are going to need a fourth starter and I don't think he can be relied on.

i'd be worried about pettitte almost more so

7 runs in (2) innings, maybe the box score is wrong, couldn't be you…
