I’m down. I’m really down. I’m down. Down on the ground. I’m down. I’m really down. How can you laugh when you know I’m down. -The Beatles
Public Service Announcement: OK, here we go! Smell it? Ooooo Oooo that smell. Can you smell that smell? Smell’s like baseball. Don’t it? I live for this. Big trouble. Big Trouble in Little China. Big trouble up in the Boogie Down. This Red Sox fan loves it. All of it. The joy is rapidly fading from Mudville this fall. AJ Burnett continues to lose. A man who was once electrifying this season, is now so unreliable, he just may be the Yankees’ greatest weakness in a short playoff series. Andy Pettitte continues to show his age. Pettitte, who has pitched more innings than any other left-hander since 1995, will miss his start Wednesday. How many playoffs starts will he miss? The Yankees’ magic number for clinching a playoff spot may be six, but once they get in, what then? One and done. That’s what then. Ha ha ha! Roll Sox roll!
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
Need More? MLB,New York Yankees

I remember reading stuff like this in '98, '99, and 2000 as well. It's been a while, but it's truly wonderful to see some foolish optimism from Sox fans!
You forgot about the Joba soap opera, what's he allowed to pitch these days? 4 innings? What the hell is that?
