Game Of The Day: Bears v. PackersGame Of The Day: Bears v. Packers

And the battle’s just begun, there’s many lost, but tell me who has won.  The trench is dug within our hearts, and mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart.  Sunday, bloody Sunday.  -U2

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Like my main man Dan Birdell always says, “You have to play this game like somebody just hit your mother with a two-by-four.”  The Bears and Packers having been playing like that for years.  Years of tears.  As rivalries go, these cats are far from wet behind the ears.  There was Dickey to Lofton followed by Marcol.  There was Charles Martin’s hit list.  There was the Instant Replay Game.  There was Brett Favre gimping around on a sprained ankle throwing for 336 yards and five TDs.  The blocked field goal by defensive tackle Bryan Robinson.  Mason Crosbys kick blocked by Alex Brown.  Devin Hester, the very bester.  All of it.  Tonight, expect more of the same.  Tonight, expect the Black and Blue Dvision to live up to its name.  Smashmouth football.  Old time football.  Eddie Shore football.  I know, I know but you know what I mean.  I mean get your popcorn ready!
