By now you all know San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested Sunday and accused of choking and restraining his girlfriend, reality TV star Tila Tequila. Well, last night, Tila released a series of statements on her Twitter page hinting that steroids were involved in the incident. And wouldn’t you know it, somehow my name got drug in the mud. That’s right. Me. She tweeted, “Steroid Abuse Can Cause Aggression” and linked it to this story I wrote almost three years ago. Now that was a shot of love I wasn’t counting on.
