Mark Buehrle: Historically Bad

I love it when you hit those switches.  A curve ball’s what my pitch is.  So here we here we come like dum ditty dum.  I keep all five boroughs in stitches.  -Beastie Boys

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  What’s gotten into Mark Buehrle?  Last thing I remember he was throwing a no no.  Last thing I remember he was making the Sox a go go.  Now?  Now, not so much.  Last night, Mark Buehrle was the pitcher of record on the winning side when he was relieved after six innings.  Last night, Mark Buehrle was the pitcher of record on the winning side only to see his bullpen squander the lead and leave him with a no-decision.  Too bad.  So sad.  Buehrle is now 0-3 in five starts since his perfect game.  None of the other 16 pitchers who threw a regular-season perfect game went winless in their next five starts.  Not one.  Just Mark Buehrle.

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!
