Last night, Pittsburgh Pirates’ rookie Garrett Jones went yard in Pittsburgh’s 9-5 victory over Milwaukee. Hooray Garret Jones! For the record, Garret Jones has now hit 13 home runs in only 40 games this season. Booyakasha! He’s the first rookie in eight years to hit 13 (or more) home runs in his first 40 games of a season. The first rookie since Phat Albert Pujols and Fatter Adam Dunn each did that in 2001. How about that?
