Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Maybe you didn’t hear about it, you’ve been away a long time.  They didn’t go up there and tell you.  They didn’t go up there and tell you this Garret Jones kid rakes.  Last night,     Garrett Jones was just one of four Pirates players to go yard.   Four Pirates may have gone yard last night, but garret Jones is the only Pirate to be leading the majors with nine bombs since July 1.  Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!  You know what July 1 is?  Huh?  Do ya?  July 1, is the day Jones made his debut for Pittsburgh.  Since then, he has two more bombs than the runners-up, Derrek Lee and Alex Rodriguez.  No Pirates player has outright led the majors in bombs in any calendar month since Willie Stargell outright led the majors in bombs in April 1971.  Knock knock?  Who’s there?  Garret Jones bitch!
