Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Well lookie lookie here.  Look who it is.  Look at Jason Marquis.  Look at the first pitcher in the majors to win twelve games this season.  Look at the first Colorado Rockies pitcher to ever have sole possession of the major-league lead in wins later than one day into a season.  That’s right.  You heard me.  No Mile High pitcher has ever led Major League Baseball in wins at any time ever.  Yikes!  Not so hard to believe really.  Not when you remember no Rockies pitcher has ever even won twenty games.  How could they?  Armando Reynoso?  Kevin Ritz?  Darrin Oliver?  Pedro Astacio?  Shawn Estes?  Those were your aces?  Your aces of the bases.  You see the sign.  You just may see Colorado’s first twenty game winner too.
