You’re still the same; moving game to game. Some thlngs never change. You’re still the same. -Bob Seger
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Yesterday, the Yankees beat the Twinkies. Yesterday, the Yankees swept the season series from Minnesota, 7-0. The Yankees played their last game at the Metrodome yesterday, finishing with a 77-64 record there. Only two other American League teams have a winning record as visitors there. Only the Blue Jays and only the Angels. I don’t care. I don’t care that they’re tied for first. I don’t care what they say about us anyway. I don’t care about that.
All I know is the Red Sox own the Yankees. All I know is, last year, with a victory over the Tribe, the Red Sox clinched a playoff berth and eliminated the Yankees from playoff contention, bringing an end to the streak of 13 consecutive postseason appearances dating back to 1995. All I know is, in May, the Red Sox visited the new Yankee Stadium, the house that Grady Sizemore built, for the first time in history, and won. All I know is, the Red Sox remain unbeaten against the Yankees this season. All I know is, the Yankees still suck. And if the Sox Halladay? Ha ha ha! Roll Sox, roll!
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
Need More? Boston Red Sox, MLB, New York Yankees
