Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! First off, I’d like to apologize for the picture above with Nate McLouth in a Pirates uniform. Try as I might, I could not find him in his new Braves’ threads. Now, back to our regularly scheduled program. Stop! Thief! Last night, Nate McLouth stole second base in the third inning. Hooray Nate McLouth! Unfortunately, he was then thrown out trying to steal third. Booooo! That ended McLouth’s streak of thirty-one consecutive successful stolen-base attempts. That ended the longest current streak in the majors. Here endeth the lesson.
