Don’t give your lucky Twins shirt to EmilyValentine. You just may need it. The Twins ain’t giving nothin’ away right now. Last night, Michael Cuddyer hit his 10th bomb of the season. For those of you keeping score at home, that gives the Twinkies five players with at least 10 bombs. For those of you keeping score at home, that makes this the first time since the 1987 that the Twinkies have had five players with at least 10 homers prior to the All-Star Break. You know what happened in 1987, right? You know Kent Hrbek, Tom Brunansky, Gary Gaetti, Kirby Puckett and Tim Laudner won the World Series in 1987, right? Stay right here Twins fans, ’cause these are indeed the good old days.
