John Lannan: Native New Yorker

You’re a native New Yorker.  You should know the score by now.  You’re a native New Yorker.  -Odyssey

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Who says you can’t go home again?  Thomas Wolfe?  Did he ever toe the rubber?  I think not!  Washington Nationals pitcher John Lannan grew up on Strong Island.  Last night, John Lannan toed the rubber and beat the New York Yankees.  He beat the New York Yankees just eleven days after he toed the rubber and posted a complete-game victory against the New York Metropolitans.  Big deal you say?  Who cares you say?  I say, the only other New York State-born pitcher to beat the Mets and the Yankees in the same season is another dude from Strong Island.  I say the only other guy is Jason Marquis who did it for the Cardinals in 2005.  I say Thomas Wolfe better ask somebody!

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!

BallHype: hype it up!
