Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Boogity boogity! I’m with PETA on this one. The last thing I want to see is a bunch of hepped up NASCAR fans doing the chicken dance. Yes that’s right, the chicken dance. Apparently, this Sunday, at the Talladega Superspeedway, site of the Aaron’s 499 race, NASCAR is planning to break the world record for the most people doing the chicken dance at the same time. How about that? How about this? The attempt is being sponsored by KFC. Ruh roh Reorge. I know, you know and Colonel Harland Sanders knows how PETA feels about KFC.
PETA doesn’t care how yummy and delicious KFC is. They don’t care about the eleven herbs and spices. They don’t care that it’s finger lickin’ good. PETA is imploring the Guiness Book of World Records to ignore this outrage. PETA says, “If this record is allowed, it could encourage other animal abusers to attempt silly feats that make a mockery of animal protection.” PETA says, “KFC should use its time to improve the hideous living and dying conditions of the millions of chickens who are hurt by its suppliers.” I say what Homer Simpson says. I say, “Mmmmmm fried chicken.”

I'm going to Talladega this weekend and if the crowd gets up and starts doing the Chicken Dance, then why not I?? I'm going there to have a good time and watch a race, I'd understand PETA if they were dancing on live chickens or something, but comeon it's just a dance. I don't support animal abuse, I mean people who kill animals for no reason just out of meaness, it's wrong. But PETA takes some things too far, which makes it annoying for some people to support them. Nobody's taking away my original recipe bucket of KFC when I want it.
