Jeter And Rivera: Would You Believe?

I believe in example.  I believe my throat hurts.  Example is the checker to the key.  I believe my humor’s wearing thin and I believe the poles are shifting.  -REM

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  Just a quick stat from yesterday’s Yankees game.  At the moment, seven Coast Guard cutters are converging on us.  Would you believe it?  Would you believe six?  How about two cops in a rowboat?  How about this?  Derek Jeter’s two-out single broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the ninth inning and Mariano Rivera threw a one-two-three inning in the bottom half to record the save.  Would you believe  Jeter and Rivera have been teammates since 1995, but this was the first time that the Yankees have ever won a game in which Jeter produced the game-winning RBI in the ninth inning or later and Rivera earned a save?  Believe it!

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!

BallHype: hype it up!
