Rangers 12 Indians 8: Drew Carey may think Cleveland rocks, but I think they something else. They something elsed this past series against Texas. They something elsed and allowed twenty-nine runs in this past series against Texas. That’s the worse than they’ve something elsed ever. You heard? Ever. The most runs Cleveland has ever allowed over the first three games of a season before this was twenty-four runs, back in 1970 and back in 1985. Now that’s something else.
Panthers 3 Thrashers 2: Kids do the darndest things. Last night, Zach Bogosian did the darndest thing. Last night, Zach Bogosian scored a power play goal. Last night, Zach Bogosian scored a shorthanded goal. Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say last night, Zach Bogosian who is eighteen years, 269 days old, just became the youngest player in NHL history to score a power play goal and a shorthanded goal in the same game. I say Zach Bogosian just broke the mark set by Trevor Linden in 1989. I say he’s also the first rookie defenseman to do that since Brian Leetch did that back in ’89. That’s what I say.
