Hornets 104 Clippers 98: I don’t know if you guys know this already, but Chris Paul is good. Chris Paul is very good. Last night, CP3 had thirty big points. Last night, CP3 had fourteen huge assists. Last night, CP3 had six gigantic steals. Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say since the 1973-74 season, when the NBA first began recording steals, only three other players reached all three of those statistical levels in a non-overtime game. I say only Sugar Ray Williams and only the Glove and only Michael Jordan himself. I say that’s pretty gosh darned good.
Celtics 111 Bobcats 109:
Coyotes 3 Avalanche 0: Rookie rookie, who gets the cookie? Al does. Al, that’s who. Al’s the big winner. Al wins. Last night, Al Montoya made his NHL debut between the pipes. Last Al Montoya posted a 3-0 victory for the Coyotes between the pipes. Montoya is only the sixth goaltender in the last twenty-three years to record a shutout in his first NHL game. The others were Mike Fountain, Jussi Markkanen, Michael Leighton, Yann Danis, and Mike Smith. Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling.
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
