The Door Is Open

Someone’s knockin’ at the door.  Somebody’s ringin’ the bell.  Do me a favor, open the door and let em’ in.  -Paul McCartney

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  What in tarnation is going on around here?  Up is down.  Down is up.  Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!  What in tarnation is going on with Martin Brodeur?  Last seen, in the first ten games that he played after missing nearly four months with an elbow injury, Satan’s Wallpaper was 9-1-0 with a 1.75 goals-against average and three shutouts.  Yowza!  That was then  This is now.  Now, Brodeur is 0-5-1 with a 3.65 GAA in six games since then, including his 6-1 loss in Pittsburgh last night.  Egads man.  That’s bad.  Really bad.  That matches the longest previous winless streaks of Brodeur’s NHL career.  Yikes!  He better get back to being the Brodeur we all know and love if the Devils want a chance in this thing.  And he better do it soon.

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!

That's OK, as a Met fan I know all to well how to handle these late season collapses. Hey Bartender, 1 boubon, 1 scotch and 1 beer
