[...] That’s right, more Wieters hype. The Fantasy Players Network’s blog ‘Josh Q. Public,’ has put out a pretty nice little list of their Major League Baseball Preseason Awards. Their Freddy Lynn Award goes to baseball’s top offensive rookie and, of course, the recipient of this year’s honor is Matt Wieters. Here’s their write-up, “Rookie rookie, who gets the cookie. Matt Wieters. That’s who. Word on the street is Matt Wieters was the best position player in his draft. Word on the street is Matt Wieters was the best college catcher in recent memory.
