Christmas In March

And so happy Christmas, I hope you have fun.  The near and the dear ones.  The old and the young.  -John Lennon

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  I like this kid.  I like this kid a lot.  I like me some Dionte Christmas.  He’s gonna bring me some figgy pudding.  Oh, he’s gonna bring me some figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer.  He brought some good cheer against top seeded Xavier in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 tournament.  He brought some good cheer against Duquesne in the finals and a second straight A-10 tournament Most Outstanding Player award to boot.  Now he takes his figgy pudding and good cheer to Miami tommorow afternoon in a first round match-up against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

As goes Christmas, so go the Owls.  Dionte is a shrap shooter.  A rootin’ tooter.  A Dwight Schruter?  He gets very good elevation.  He has a quick release.  Put those together with his freakishly long arms and you get a shot that is very difficult to block.  Like my main Private Jackson, if you was to put him and his here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolph Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir, pack your bags, fellas, war’s over.  Amen.

You saw it.  You saw it the first half against Duquense in the finals of the A-10 tournament.  You saw it the first half against Duquense in a remarkable stretch of shooting where Christmas scored twenty points while knocking down six threes.  If you see it again against the Sun Devils, war’s over.  Amen.

Public Spectacle:

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!

BallHype: hype it up!
