Last night, Mason posted his league-high ninth shutout of the season. How about that? How about this? Mason’s nine shutouts are the most in one season by a rookie since Chicago’s Tony Esposito set the NHL freshman record with fifteen back in 1970. Six more Stevie, just six more.
