Tach it up, tach it up, buddy gonna shut you down. Shut it off, shut it off, buddy now I shut you down. -Beach Boys
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! If you read this space with any regularity, you I know I love me some Martin Brodeur. You know I think he’s the best goalie there’s ever been. The best goalie I’ve ever seen. A regular shutout machine. Got another shutout last night. Made twenty-seven saves to record the 100th shutout of his career last night. Big deal? So what? I’ll tell you so what. I’ll tell you, since October 20, 1993, when Marty posted his first career shutout, only two other goaltenders, both now retired, recorded even half as many shutouts as Brodeur. I’ll tell you only Dominik Hasek and Ed Belfour. I’ll tell you that’s so what.
I’ll tell you, what Martin Brodeur is doing right now is nothing short of amazing. Here he comes. Here he comes back after missing four months and fifty whole games following surgery. Here he comes and what does he do? He posts two shutouts and is in between the pipes for three straight wins. Three straight wins in three-and-a-half days. That’s what he does. You fill my heart with gladness. Take away my sadness. Ease my troubles, that’s what you do.
Public Spectacle:
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
Need More? Martin Brodeur, NHL, New Jersey Devils

Poetry, pure poetry. Keep this up and your bound to have a mansion in Hawaii with a trophy room to exhibit your pulitzers. Although there are those who will cry about Marty playing behind great defenses, those who will whimper about the Devils trap helping his numbers. I for one, hate those people. Keep up the great work!!!
hey lou, how do you write without sounding like sylvester the cat. you have a voice for blogging.
