Toot toot, hey, beep beep. Hey mister, have you got a dime? Hey mister, do you want to spend some time? -Donna Summer
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! You know I love Bron Bron. You know I think he’s the greatest athlete in the entire world. But Stanley, see this? This is this. This ain’t something else. From now on, you’re on your own. Last night, Bron Bron’s teammates were on their own. Last night, LeBron James failed to record an assist in a game for the first time in his NBA career. How about that?
How about this? LeBron James had at least one assist in each of his previous 446 regular-season games. Pretty good, right? Darn skippy it’s good. The only other active players to go further into their career without an assist-less game were Jason Kidd, Stephon Marbury and Mike Bibby. Point guards one and all. That’s what makes this so remarkable. Big as a tiger sharkable. I wouldn’t expect too many more games this. I expect another streak is in the making.
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
