Celtics 128  Suns 108:  If this is life without KG then the Celtics should be ok.  OK Corral that is.  Shooting the lights out that is.  Yesterday afternoon, the Celtics shot 63 percent from the field.  Yowza!  That’s pretty good.  How good?  I’m glad you asked.  

It was the highest field-goal percentage by a visiting team against the Suns in twenty years.  Since the since the Trailblazers shot 68 percent at Phoenix back in ‘87.  Since Clyde Drexler.  Since Terry Porter.  If the Celtics can keep shooting like those guys, they’ll be just fine.  

Magic 122  Heat 99:  Dwyane Wade fills it up for fifty.  Heat lose.  Dwyane Wade becomes the first player to outscore all his teammates combined in one game this season.  Heat get crushed.  Flash is now only the fourth player in NBA history to score at least fifty points in a loss by twenty or more points. Wilt Chamberlain did it.  George Gervin did it.  Dana Barros did it.  I’m with Al Davis on this one.  Just win baby!

Cavaliers 99  Pistons 78:  Detroit looked just awful last night.  Awful.  Why are they so bad?  Is the answer Allen Iverson?  The Pistons have a 23-27 record since Iverson played his first game for the team on November 3.  That’s the first time since the end of the 2000-2001 season that Detroit has posted a losing record over a span of 50 games within the same season.  I’m just saying.
