Busted: Marshawn Lynch

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  I’ll never understand it.  I’ll never understand the infatuation these professional athletes have with their guns.  Nothing good ever comes of it.  Nothing good happened to Plaxico Burress.  Nothing good happened to Jayson Williams.  Now, nothing good is happening to Marshawn Lynch.  Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested wednesday on a felony charge of possession of a concealed firearm.  

Apparently, three days after Lynch played at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, police officers patrolling Culver City discovered a loaded firearm that belonged to Lynch in his Benzo.  Why?  That’s all I ask.  Why do you need a loaded gun? 

Karl Malone had it right, “Cool will get you dead.”  Malone:  “Now why do these guys carry guns?  Is that the ‘cool’ thing to do? Well ‘cool’ gets you dead!”  Lucky for Lynch it didn’t get him or anybody else dead, but it sure looks like it got him in a world of trouble.  What say you Roger Goodell?
