Love hurts, love scars. Love wounds, and marks. -Nazareth
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! If you read me at all, you know I do love, love, me some Big Al Jefferson. I do, I do now, yeah, yeah, I do. So, this news hurts me. It hurts me a lot. It hurts T-Wolves fans more. With Al Jefferson expected to miss the remainder of this season because of a torn ACL in his knee, you should know something. You should know this: Big Al, who turned twenty-four last month, averaged 23.1 points and 11.0 rebounds in 50 games played this season. Big deal? So what? I’ll tell you so what.
I’ll tell you only two other active players produced at least twenty-three points per game and ten-or-more rebounds per game in a season before the ripe old age of twenty-five. I’ll tell you only Shaq Daddy. The Big Cactus. The Big Shaqtus. The Big Galactus. I’ll tell you only the Big Fundamental, Tim Duncan himself. I’ll tell you Big Al was on his way to big big things. Get well soon Al Jefferson. Get well soon.
Public Spectacle:
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
Need More? Al Jefferson, Minnesota Timberwolves, NBA
