She lies and says shes in love with him, can’t find a better man. Can’t find a better man. -Pearl Jam
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! George St. Pierre may have beat the stuffing out of BJ Penn, but Dana White, for one, is unimpressed. UFC president White insists UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva is his choice as the best around. He just might be right. Silva has lost just once in 12 fights since April 2005. His sole defeat coming by way of disqualification for an illegal kick against Yushin Okami. Pun intended.
Public Spectacle:
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!

Anderson Silva finishes people. He hasn't seen a decision since September 2004. St. Pierre can settle for second in the UFC and 3rd overall (Fedor)
I sitting next to be my boy who loves ufc and he says you're aboslutely right he also says i should throw in a joe rogan joke. I say silva is a beast. in a wierd way he reminds me of hagler. Just dominating.

I also agree, no disrespect to anyone who will get in the ring for these types of fights but Silva is #1 GSP is #2 and BJ is #3. Lets see GSP vs SILVA!!!!!!!!
Ahhhh I was about to say "what the fuck are you talking about" then realized it was for neophytes…just like this fool (Dana White), he's never practiced MMA so what's the point to keep on debating with such a guy…Ohh just for information, not the same weights. Damn it seems to me that one of these days some people are gonna ask for a Fedor-GSP fight…Think about before writing
Why wouldn't a fight between Silva and Saint Pierre be possible? George wouldn't have to cut wieght to fight at 185. that could be the best fight of the year. That could very much settle whos the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC.
They could fight but it would be a bit one sided. Silva walks around at 215-220. GSP walks around at 185-190. Anderson would come in to the fight at least 20 pounds heavier than st pierre! so that wouldnt be a good way to judge who is best pound for pound. if anderson cuts to 170 and fights GSP I would call that fair! because Georges couldnt gain nearly enough weight to fight anderson! i say GSP is a much better fighter pound for pound. his technique is incredible, in all aspects of the game! he can hold his own on the ground or standing up. anderson is a jiu jitsu black belt but never goes to the ground. if he does go to the ground hes not very impressive. hes a kickboxer! If he has just a jiu jitsu match with any top jiu jitsu guy he would get mauled! mma is mixed martial arts not martial art! his stand up is great i will never ever disagree with that. but look how scared he was to goto the ground with thales! MY POINT IS GSP IS THE BEST POUND FOR POUND!!!!
GSP IS NUMERO UNO DUDES!!! I CANT THINK OF ONE BETTER.. HIS GROUND TACTICS ARE PHENOMINAL HIS STAND UP IS FLAWLESS.. HIS FIGHT ON JULY 11TH KICKED ASS THE DUDE DIDNT HAVE A SCRATCH ON HIS FACE.. AND TO TOP IT ALL HE RESPECTS HIS JOB AND HIMSELF UNLIKE LESNAR.. GEORGE ST. PEIRRE IS A MASTER!!
It is called a catch weight.
your an idiot , so its ok for silva to go up in weight and dismantle 205 fighters irvin, forrest but when it comes to st.pierre its a different story if anderson silva is to hard for him id love to see gsp even step in with some 2nd or 3rd class 185ers like franklin or dan henderson (if he was still with the ufc) …. bj penn isnt scared of jumping weight, anderson silva isnt scared of jumping weigh…. so y sud st.pierre be scared if hes supposibly the best so how about u think before writting
saying its one sided is a complete joke anderson silva moves up in weigh and destroys the guys he fights , forest griffen probably walks around 240 ish if not more meaning he had at least 20 pounds on silva when they actually fought, anderson silva knocks guys out in the light heavyweigh division just like he does in the middle weigh the difference is st.pierre couldnt do what he does to welterweighs to the ufc middleweighs, bj penn is another guy that moved up in weigh and i know he would do it again, what im saying is once u become so big in the sport and you wanna prove your the best and be a legend you cant always play it safe bj penn tried challengin for the welterweigh belt if he had won it wuda been historic , anderson silva has moved up in multiple occasions and has won both in great fashion .. so why should it be any different for george??
