Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  That’s enough football for a minute.  I didn’t have a horse in that race anyway.  I gots me a horse in this one boyeee.  I gots me a Secretariat in this one.  I gots me some Boston Celtics.  Uh-memba them?  Huh?  Do ya?  I remember everybody yipping after the Christmas Day loss to the Lakers.  I remember everybody yapping after that little slide they hit.  Yipping and yapping.  Slip sliding away.  You remember that, right?  Well fuhgettaboutit.     

While you making your making your hot wings yesterday, the Celtics were making some hotness of their own.  We on fire, up in here, it’s burning hot.  We on fire.  Shorty take it off, if it get to hot, up in this spot.  Shorty’s gonna be butt nekid at this rate. 

Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics continued their eleven game anhialation of the National Basketball Association yesterday in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.  With Kevin Garnett home with the flu, Paul Pierce stepped out of the phone booth and leaped tall building in a single bound. 

Pierce:  “I wanted to come out a little more aggressive.”  That he did folks, that he did.  Thirty-six big points.  Eight huge rebounds.  Six gigantic assists.  And know this boys and girls, Pierce had more assists than field goals over three games last week.  Not yesterday.  Yesterday he took over the ballgame.

If you’ve been watching the Celtics lately, you have to ask yourself one question and one question only.  You have to ask yourself, who’s playing for second?
