Devils 4  Penguins 3:  El Diablo!  Dios mio!  El Diablo!!  If you skate, you would be great.  If you could make a figure eight.  The Devils can skate.  The Devils just made a figure eight.  Eight straight wins.  Eight straight wins on the back of Jamie Langenbrunner.    For the second straight night, the Devils tied the game in the final two minutes of the third period.  For the second straight night, Jamie Langenbrunner put the biscuit in the basket for the winner winner chicken dinner.  How about that?

Jazz 110  Thunder 90:  Five players on the floor functioning as one single unit.  Team, team, team.  No one more important that the other.  Last night, the Jazz defeated the Thunder with all five Utah starters scoring at least fifteen big ones.  Big deal you say?  Who cares you say?  I say, that’s the first time they’ve done that since the days of Malone and Stockton.  On Friday night, the tally was as follows: Deron Williams, 24.  Mehmet Okur, 20.  Paul Millsap, 16.  C.J. Miles, 15.  Ronnie Brewer, 15.  I say, the Jazz’ last such game was a 103-89 win over the Clippers back in 1999: Karl Malone, 25.  Bryon Russell, 19.  John Stockton, 19.  Greg Ostertag, 16.  Jeff Hornacek, 15.  Sure brings you back, don’t it?  Ya it does.  Good times, good times. 

Celtics 86  Pistons 78:  Is the end of days not only for the Pistons but for Allen Iverson as well?  Last night in Detroit’s loss, Iverson had a pedestrian nineteen points.  He finished the month with an average of 17.0 points per game for January.  That makes the second-lowest monthly scoring average of Iverson’s NBA career.  Yowza!  His only lower mark was 16.4 points per game as a rookie back in ’97.  Hmmm.
