Chris Paul Has It All

Every little thing she does is magic.  Everything she do just turns me on.  Even though my life before was tragic, now I know my love for her goes on.  -The Police

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  Steve Nash who?  Horton hears a what?  Welcome to the Chris Paul era.  After last night’s performance, if there were any questions as to who is the best point guard in the Association, there ain’t no more.  Last night, Chris Paul was electrifyn’.  He was death defyin’.  High flyin’, making grown men cryin’, fourth of Julyin’, in your eyein’ and I ain’t lyin’.

What a night, what a night!  A late September back in ‘63 night.  A night to remember.  Last night, Chris Paul loaded up his the stat sheet like Dagwood Bumstead.  Loaded it up with his fifth triple-double of the season.  You listening Jason Kidd?  Loaded it up with seven steals.  How ’bout you Flash?

Last night, Chris Paul had twenty-seven behemoth points.  Last night, Chris Paul had eleven enormous assists.  Last night, Chris Paul had ten leviathan rebounds.  All well and good.  All very well and very good.  But that’s not all folks.  Last night, Chris Paul had seven tremendous steals.  The NBA has officially recorded steals for individual players since the start of the 1973-74 season.  Over those thirty-six seasons, CP3 is the first player to reach all four of those statistical levels in one game.  Yowza!

If I were you, I’d be watching Chris Paul.  If I were you, I’d be watching history.

Public Spectacle:

Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
