Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  This is not good news.  Not good news at all.  Not good news if you are a Celtics fan.  According to the New York Post, Stephon Marbury acknowledged for the first time yesterday, that he has a verbal commitment from the Celtics.  Like my main man Mars Blackman always says, “Please baby, pleasebaby, please baby, baby baby please!”  Please no.    

I do not like Stephon Marbury.  I do not like him a house.  I do not like him with a mouse.  I do not like him here or there.  I do not like him anywhere.  The only salvation in all of this is, Starbury says a lot of things. 

Starbury said, “How can you not be supportive of Larry Brown being the coach?  He’s one of the best coaches to coach the game.  So for me, that’s a no-brainer.” 

Starbury said, “I know Isiah and I know he’s an honorable man.  I know that he’s a guy filled with a lot of character, so I think everyone here is on his side.” 

Starbury said, “I love Jason Kidd.  He’s a great point guard.  But how am I comparing myself to him when I think I’m the best point guard to play basketball?” 

Starbury said, “I love playing ball for the Timberwolves.”

Let’s all hope this just another one of those things Starbury said.
