Cardinals 32 Eagles 25: Each week I went against these guys. Each week they proved me wrong. Larry Fitzgerald and Kurt Warner. They go together like rama lama lama ke ding a de dinga a dong. Remembered forever like shoo bop shoo wadda wadda yipitty boom de boom.
Kurt Warner making us all feel young again. Kurt Warner threw four touchdown passes yesterday at the Buzzsaw. That makes him just the fifth player in NFL history to throw four or more TD passes in two playoff games. That puts him up there with names likes Daryle Lamonica. Names like Joe Montana. Names like Peyton Manning. Names like Kerry Collins. Kerry Collins? Ya, but still.
Tecmo Larry. Larry Fitzgerald caught three touchdown passes. Three touchdown passes within the first twenty-seven minutes. Yowza! Only one other player in NFL history scored three TDs earlier in a playoff game than Tecmo Larry done did. Only Ricky Watters. Watters set an NFL postseason record with five touchdowns in a 44-3 win over the Giants back in ‘94. Five! He scored the third of those TDs with 4:03 to play in the first half. My goodness.
Steelers 23 Ravens 14: Each week I picked these guys. Each week they proved me right. You know what everybody’s saying. Everybody’s saying defense wins championships. If that’s the case then, if you wanna crown them, then crown their ass! They are who we thought they were. They are the best defensive team in football. The hardest hitting team in football. The Pittsburgh Steelers hit early and hit often. Big hits. Bone crushing hits. Teeth rattling hits. The hits just keep on hitting. Hitting all the way to Tampa.
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
Need More? Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Kurt Warner, NFL, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers
