Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  How can you not be rooting for Kurt Warner?  Root-a-toot-tooting for Kurt Warner?  I know I am.  You should be too.   

Everybody loves a good comeback story.  A nice juicy plumback story.  A sweet as bubblegumback story.  This guy is two sweet as bubblegumback stories rolled in to one.  Double your pleasure.  Double your fun.

You know the story by know.  Cut by the Packers.  Packing groceries at the Hy-Vee.  Arena Football.  NFL Euro Football.  Redemption.  Resurrection.  Greatest Show On Turf.  MVP.  MVP.   Super Bowl MVP.  Hallelujah!  But as quickly Kurt’s star rose, it faded away.  My my, hey hey.

Signed by the Giants.  Struggled with the Giants.  Lost his job to Eli With the Giants.  Signed by the Cardinals.  Struggled with the Cardinals.  Lost his job to Josh McCown with the Cardinals.  Lost his job to Matt Leinart with the Cardinals.  Redemption.  Resurrection. 

And here we are.  Here he is.  Here he is with as a fine a playoff performance as one man can have.  What does he get for his troubles?  He gets the red hot Philadelphia Eagles.  Out of the muck into the mire.  From the frying pan to the fire.  The electric fence and the barbed wire.  But like my main man General Douglas MacArthur always says, “Age wrinkles the body.  Quitting wrinkles the soul.”  There’s no quit in Kurt Warner.  None whatsoever.
